I am a journalist, travel writer and web editor specialising in tourism and the experience economy. I have covered everything from hiking in Wales to vodka in Warsaw and write for publications such as Politiken, Jyllands-Posten, Politikens Forlag and SAS’s inflight magazine Scandinavian Traveler.
Since 2014, I have been working for Scandinavian Traveler as a journalist and web editor. I edit the Danish site and write content marketing, reports, guides, background material, interviews and features on all Danish news in terms of gastronomy, culture and lifestyle. I also contribute to the magazine with international stories from countries such as Poland, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Apart from travel and lifestyle texts, I have also written campaigns for companies such as COOR and VisitSweden, as well as various articles for specialist publications. I mostly write for digital publishing channels and know my SEO.
I have an MA in Eastern European Studies from the University of Copenhagen and have lived and studied for several years in Poland. I have travelled all over the country since the late 1990s, speak fluent Polish and have worked with PR, press and tourism at the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen. I am also the author of the past 4 editions of the popular Danish travel guide on Poland, ‘Turen Går til Polen’.
